JETI’s partners are leading knowledge providers and stakeholder conveners in the fast-moving field of research into the impacts of climate issues on the future of business and finance.

InfluenceMap enables a world where crucial decisions are legitimately influenced and objectively made. This is achieved by empowering partners with data-driven and clearly communicated analysis on critical societal issues such as climate change. In InfluenceMap's flagship project analyzing climate policy lobbying, the goal is to enable key partners in the finance, NGO and progressive corporate worlds to eliminate blockages to an ambitious policy pathway globally and encourage support.

Carbon Tracker is an independent financial think tank that carries out in-depth analysis on the impact of the energy transition on capital markets and the potential investment in high-cost, carbon-intensive fossil fuels. Its team of financial market, energy and legal experts apply groundbreaking research using leading industry databases to map both risk and opportunity for investors on the path to a low-carbon future. It has cemented the terms “carbon bubble”, “unburnable carbon” and “stranded assets” into the financial and environmental lexicon.

Carbon Tracker

The 2° Investing Initiative is the global think tank for developing climate and long-term risk metrics and related policy options in financial markets. They developed the first science-based target setting and 2°C scenario analysis tool for financial portfolios, applied by over 200 financial institutions and three financial supervisory authorities to date. 2°ii also initiated the first climate-related financial regulation in Europe in the context of the French mandatory climate-related disclosure by financial institutions (Art. 173), in addition partnering with the Swiss government on 2°C scenario analysis, involving two-thirds of the Swiss pension funds and insurance market.

The Institute for Global Environmental Strategies was established under an initiative of the Japanese government and with the support of Kanagawa Prefecture. The aim of the Institute is to achieve a new paradigm for civilization and conduct innovative policy development and strategic research for environmental measures, reflecting the results of research into political decisions for realising sustainable development both in the Asia-Pacific region and globally.
